I want to go have supper hereI want to take a trip to Montreal expressly for the purpose of having supper there. O'noir is a restaurant that servers you the entire meal experience in pitch black. You get no light of any form while you are in there, and the waiters are all blind. I am incredibly intrigued. It was a good weekend. Saturday I went to an Orpheus bbq and croquet tournament (I regrettably did not make the finals this time), I stopped in at Breathless (where I heard about o'noir), stayed up until about 4am playing on the computer, slept until almost 2pm on Sunday, did a bit of shopping, and then met people for Ethiopian food, and an evening of Chicago at the NAC. Chicago was an excellent production. The woman playing Roxie was very short, she couldn't have been much over 5'0", but she did the role well. The dancers overall were rock solid, the voice talent ranged from very good to mind blowing. I wasn't super crazy about the guy playing Amos, he didn't sell it for me, but Mama Morton could knock your head off with the power of her voice. Yegads, what a voice.
